The name says it all.Start by discovering why this wilderness area is one of the most photographed in all of the Sierras. Climb up and above tree-line and discover amazing lakes that just beg for you to jump in and enjoy.
Following a section of the Pacific Crest Trail, we will backpack up to Thousand Island Lake where Banner Peak juts up dramatically into the skyline.
Spend time simply exploring and staring at the beautiful views, and relax lakeside reveling in your feelings of accomplishment after a challenging hike.

But the adventure doesn't end here!
Next we head to the waters of the American river for an exciting day of white-water rafting and river play.
Put your oar to the test as we make our way through Class II and III rapids. A heart-pumping day on the river will leave you refreshed and your adrenaline high will remain with you as you head home.
