Explore the wilderness in the Bay Area's own backyard on this action packed hike, paddle and service adventure in Point Reyes National Seashore. This treasure trove just North of San Francisco is home to a diverse population of birds and native plants and provides unparalleled views of California's coastline. It is no wonder that people from all over the world come to see the bountiful nature only found in Point Reyes…and now here's your chance!

This adventure starts with an ocean-side hike from the south end of Pt. Reyes where we will spend two glorious days exploring the beach, lakes and waterfalls! No need to carry your whole pack for these days, just a water bottle and a tasty lunch will accompany us as we explore the lesser known secret spots the area has to offer.

After breaking down camp we will head out for an afternoon of removing non-native species and learning about bio-diversity with Point Reyes National Seashore Association…a great way to get in some service hours required by that school or parent of yours!

You can then toss your work gloves aside and take up a 2 day, 1 night kayak in Tomales Bay. Watch for whales, bat rays, harbor seals, native Tule elk and other natural wonders of this beautiful park. Camp on a private beach and fall asleep listening to the incredible peace and calmness of the water gently crashing on shore. A truly unique wilderness experience for the beginning adventurer.
