This trip is now part of GO Adventure's regular offerings! "Best Trip Ever" says Jen Homan, Lifeschool's most veteran guide. Join us for an amazing, non-stop tour through one of Central America's most stunning and diverse adventure hot spots.
This journey begins in San Jose where you will meet our excellent local guides and begin to learn everything you want to know about Costa Rica culture and wildlife.
Our first stop is Tortuguero National Park. Here you will get your first taste of lowland rainforest and all of the creatures that call it home. Try to keep count of the incredible diversity of birds and go on a night hike in search of frogs and toads.
From there you will check out the Arenal volcano and have the chance to soak in volcano-heated hot springs. Your group will also tour the Butterfly Garden of Monteverde and go on a crocodile safari in Carara National Park.
One highlight of this trip is the visit to the Cloud Forest where the group will take on the Skywalk, a series of bridges through the forest canopy. If that's not enough then wait for the Skytrek…your chance do try over eleven different ziplines through the trees. Hold on tight!
Lots of nature hikes abound on this trip and offer multiple chances to see an amazing amount of wildlife. When not hiking through the forest there will be time to explore the beach and play in the warm ocean waves of the Caribbean Sea.
