Winter dawn A winter is not complete without at least one backcountry camping trip. Load your backpacks full of camping supplies and join us to snowshoe off into a winter wonderland of fresh Sierra Nevada snow.

The possibilities are endless when winter camping . . . Build a snow cave, backcountry ski, snowshoe across the valley, sleep in tents in a snow village that you build with new and old friends.

Learn essential winter camping survival tips from our winter-savvy trip leaders and never fear being stuck in the cold again. Watch the sunset over the crystal white hills and celebrate the winter with a raspberry slushy (Lifeschool secret recipe). Warm up at night with hot drinks and sizzling fun campfires.

We will finish the week off with a soak in a steamy sulfur hot spring to reward those hard-working muscles and soothe the mind before heading back to civilization.
