Salt Point Camping Overnight
Located in Northern Sonoma County, 50 miles northwest of Santa Rosa, Salt Point offers some of the best Northern California has to offer. With expansive views of the rocky coastline, excellent tide-pools, and several accessible hiking trails nearby, this destination provides a variety of activities for young explorers, with the ease of front-country camping. After picnicking and some game time in a secluded sandy cove, the trail will lead us into the trees where we will keep our eyes open for deer, and other wildlife that call the forest home.
Salt Point has some of the most diverse underwater creatures in the world, and we will do our best to see them all! Without disturbing the animals, we will hunt for crabs, anemones, sea stars and sea cucumbers and learn about how they survive in such an extreme habitat.
Evenings are for campfires, stories and other fun games sure to create a memorable overnight camping experience.
