Salt Point Camping Overnight
Located in Northern Sonoma County, 50 miles northwest of Santa Rosa, Salt Point offers some of the best Northern California has to offer. With expansive views of the rocky coastline, excellent tide-pools, and several accessible hiking trails nearby, this destination provides a variety of activities for young explorers, with the ease of front-country camping.

After picnicking and some game time in a secluded sandy cove, the trail will lead us into the trees where we will keep our eyes open for deer, and other wildlife that call the forest home.

Salt Point has some of the most diverse underwater creatures in the world, and we will do our best to see them all! Without disturbing the animals, we will hunt for crabs, anemones, sea stars and sea cucumbers and learn about how they survive in such an extreme habitat.

Evenings are for campfires, stories and other fun games sure to create a memorable overnight camping experience.

Bolinas Overnight Surf & Camp
GO Adventure’s director and founder is a lifelong surfer. In 2005 GO Adventure pioneered a trip to Hawaii’s Big Island and surfing was a huge highlight for many of the students. This year we are adding a few surf destinations due to numerous requests from our students, and some encouragement from our director.

Bolinas is tailor-made for beginners and intermediate surfers hoping to hone their skills and enjoy surfing the cool Northern California coast. The students who attend this overnight adventure will be stoked to learn that the trip will be staffed by local legends, both young and old, long-boarders and short-boarders eager to share the in-s and outs of ocean/wave science, surfing history and plenty of surfing tips.

Tomales Bay Overnight Kayak & Camp
Located in Marin County, ½ an hour northwest of San Francisco, spend 2 days paddling the mile wide, 15 mile long bay observing harbor seals, pelicans, tule elk, herons, and egrets. After a morning of safety instruction and kayak practice we’ll launch our single, double or triple seat kayaks into the Bay Area’s most bio-diverse calm water bay. Activities emphasize fun, natural history, and paddling skills. At lunch we’ll stop to play games, have fun, relax and enjoy the beach. In the evening we’ll camp bayside on a private beach, cook a healthy meal and have campfire activities. The next morning we’re off again for another day of paddling and day-hiking before we get back to the launch spot early in the afternoon.
